Scholarship Application Process for Pakistani Students

• Students must apply directly through the university’s website or online portal.
• Each university sets its own eligibility and timeline; students should check their website for specific requirements for each program.
• These scholarships cover a wide range of disciplines, including Political Science, Law, Education, Administration, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Agriculture, Arabic/Islamic Studies, and Media Sciences.
• Scholarships are available for diploma, Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD levels.
• A total of 25 universities in Saudi Arabia are offering these scholarships, as detailed in Annex-A.
• Most universities allow 5% international students, but exceptions include Princess Noora Binte Abdul Rehman University (8%) and Jamia Islamia Madina Munawara (85%).
• Universities will forward applications to the Saudi Ministry of Education, which will make the final decision on the awarding of scholarships to eligible applicants.
• Applicants should send a copy of their submitted application to the official email of the Embassy of Pakistan in Riyadh at [email protected]. The Embassy will then liaise with the Saudi Ministry of Education to facilitate the granting of scholarships.

• Applicants must be nationals of Pakistan or Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
• 75% of the scholarships will be awarded to students from Pakistan, while 25% will go to Pakistani students residing in Saudi Arabia.
• Both male and female applicants are eligible to apply for these scholarships.
• For the Bachelor’s program, applicants should be between 17 and 25 years old. Master’s applicants must be under 30, and PhD applicants must be under 35 by the application deadline.
• Successful applicants will begin their studies in Saudi Arabia in September or October each year.
• Applicants must not be recipients of any other scholarships at the time of accepting the Saudi scholarship.
• Applicants should have a clean criminal record.
• Applicants must not have been expelled from any educational institution for disciplinary reasons or other valid grounds.

• The scholarship includes free accommodation.
• Married scholars receive a three-month furnishing allowance upon arrival in Saudi Arabia.
• Round-trip airfare is provided.
• Free medical care is available for both the student and their family, if married.
• A three-month graduation allowance is provided for the shipment of books.
• Subsidized meals are offered on campus.
• Access to sports and recreational activities on campus, as well as support for dependents and travel expenses.
• Science students will receive a monthly stipend of 900 Saudi Riyals (SR), while humanities students will receive 850 SR.
